- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The classroom element was a great experience! It gave me a chance to meet new people. People who were interested in similar things and future goals and plans as what I have. I was able to learn from not only my classmates, but our TEFL lecturer, who was very knowledgeable in the content that she taught and it was clear that she was not only talking about what she had studied herself, but from real experiences that she had had or that she knows of other people having. It was overall an incredible experience and open my eyes to, not only the reality of TEFL, but also the opportunities that TEFL can bring for not only me but the students I will be teaching.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. Rosalind was a great trainer! She made the classroom experience fun. She was always there to help and answer questions. It was clear that she knew what she was teaching and put in a lot of effort in what she was teaching, as well as how she would teach it. She ensured that we understood what was being taught before moving on. When we didn't understand she ensured that she helped us get back on track, before moving on to the next topic. She used real experiences to explain to us what we can expect and how we can approach the situation in the best possible way. She encouraged a good friendly atmosphere in the class which helped us get along and to be ae to work together constantly. She made the experience even better for us all!
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I was provided with opportunities to practice teaching in a safe environment which allowed for mistakes to be made. This helped me identify where I can improve my teaching. The facilitator had extended knowledge about working in the TEFL environment and shared his experiences and advice with us. It was motivating getting in touch with someone who works in this field. By the end of the classroom course I had more self confidence, felt more motivated and inspired to pursue a career in the TEFL field.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. Wikus is very knowledgeable about the TEFL field. He assisted with advice and guided us if we got stuck with our teaching practice. I enjoyed his presentations and appreciated his honesty about his experiences in the TEFL field. He left me with improved self confidence, inspired and motivated. He will also be an excellent mentor.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. She was very knowledgeable. Gave many great examples and ideas. Always was available to help us out and stay positive. She was never critical, she always made us feel as though we did a great job, yet there is always room to improve.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the webinar course? A. It was very well planned out. Very organized. Great teacher. Learned lots! :) I am now excited to use what I learned in my future as a teacher.
