- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The hotel staff were welcoming from the first day. The hotel was well ventilated and it offered material to use such as notebooks and pens of course courtesy of TEFL. We were not rushed to leave neither did we ever find our conference room locked. My tutor had plenty of activities to support her lectures and her warmers were very fun and memorable. I had very memorable classroom experience.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. Carmen was very welcoming and enthusiastic about teaching us and she made sure each and everyone of us had a chance to peer teach and incorporated the use of activities and group work in her teaching. She was open and constantly monitored our activities and provided assistance when necessary. She made sure everyone understood the concepts before moving to the next topic and used a lot of eliciting rather than telling us everything. She lectured us on her experience as a efl teacher and encouraged us to apply for jobs abroad and online. She reminded us that their are plenty of opportunities that comes with have a TEFL course. In that way she made us feel on involved and in turn the lessons were enjoyable.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the webinar course? A. Angie has a wonderful, pleasant and encouraging energy. The content was relevant, informative and useful. There were no major incidences with the technology faltering. Great chance to collaborate with others. Being a practicum, the webinar was very interactive.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. She established a great rapport with the students immediately. She was clear in giving instructions and providing directions. She was encouraging while at the same time giving necessary feedback. She pulled from personal experiences.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the webinar course? A. The teacher was really knowledgeable and experienced in language teaching herself. So the information we got was very clear and consistent. Also, the vibe in the group was good, we were challenged to teach by ourselves and different elements of the language (reading/listening, vocabulary and grammar) were included. A little bit of everything, so good practice!
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I think the weekend was a good review of elements of the online course, and gave me the opportunity to collaborate with other teachers-in-training to plan lessons and activities.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. Our TEFL trainer was very personable and experienced in the TEFL world, as well as encouraging. She gave us lots of good advice and tips, and focused on the content that she thought would be most useful for us as teachers.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. Patrick, my teacher or lecturer was extremely helpful and he made every aspect of every lesson so clear and easy to understand. He was very organised and prepared for the classes and he always made me feel welcome and always commended us as a class on our work and congratulated us for our work. I would say I was extremely nervous the day before but not knowing what to expect but he brought a sense of ease and calm that made me feel comfortable and made my ability to learn so much easier.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The class gave me a practical viewing point of all the work i studied in the course. Everything fell into place and I now know exactly how to do the work. It also gave us the opportunity to observe how the tutor presented the class. Through the tutor's teaching, we could see what we like about her methods. This gives us an opportunity to incorporate it into our own teaching methods. Observing a "professional" helped a lot to identify what to do and what not to do.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. The tutor (Luan) gave a brilliant class. She made 10 hours seem like one and always had our attention. Her way of teaching was very understandable and never confused me. She made it interesting and I loved the ample load of practical interaction with the students. She made us feel comfortable and truly wanted us to succeed.
