- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. My lecturer provided me with in depth knowledge and tips on how to handle and teach a class. She made me understand parts of the course which were initially a bit intimidating and allowed me to see that I do have the ability to a good job on this course. She was very engaging and made sure that everyone was on the same page. She also had a strong background in different aspects of teaching English which gave me some more knowledge in terms of teaching in person and online.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Our course director for the weekend kept things fun and interesting. I really enjoyed meeting other people who also plan on becoming EFL/ESL teachers. The teaching practise gave me a good frame of reference for what I can expect in this industry. Martin gave us many helpful tips and overall, it was a fun weekend. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in EFL.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the webinar course? A. It was enjoyable, engaging, informative. Teacher was well prepared, absolutely knew her stuff. Gave pointers and tips all the way through. Encouraged and gave constructive criticisms to improve lesson plans, delivery, examples and exercises. She also provided links and valuable resources.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. She knew her stuff, made me feel comfortable and less anxious, as she was very personable. As the Ted talk she used, she knew how to build relationship with her students right from the get go. It shows she loves teaching and wants to encourage that among us future teachers.
- Q. Why did you choose The TEFL Academy instead of another TEFL company? A. I chose The TEFL Academy because it is an accredited course and recognized by international institutions. Also, because it required a 20 hour in class course.
- Q. Did the course live up to your expectations? A. The Instructor of the course was qualified and highly experienced in teaching English as a second language. The course was very necessarily detailed and planned very well, even though we were learnt a lot of information. I did not come away from the course feeling overwhelmed, but comforted that I was prepared to continue onto the online part of this course.
- Q. Do you have any comments about your TEFL trainer? A. The Instructor of the course was qualified and highly experienced in teaching English as a second language. She was very enthusiastic about getting involved in TEFL, very encouraging and eager to answer any of our questions. The instructor taught us in the way that we should be teaching our future student by continuously interacting with each other and forming groups to participate in an exercise. I thought this course was going to be primarily lecturing and taking notes the whole day. I came out sunday night, beaming because of the weekend and eager to start the TEFL online course and my TEFL career.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I enjoyed the class and the teacher was amazing. She was very personable and treated us with respect but also taught us a lot. Her high energy made the class seem much shorter and it was really fun.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. She was super helpful and always willing to answer questions even if we were on break.

It was clear that the class was being taught by a genuinely passionate teacher who was there because she wanted to be, and that the small classroom size allowed me to get to know a number of very interesting and inspiring people.
